I was just about to upload a set I had that is just like this. Why are link and alternate the same?

Mahlzeit (2015-10-07 00:30:33 / 4 stars):

Ya i agree with that guy up there ^

Congratulations on your first cursor set!
Nice set but I find precision a bit hard to use, distracting.

The first one I have ever used. It's a very good cursor, but the unavailable.cur seems like a better one for precision. Very good though. :-)

Jeanie (2024-10-07 01:19:53 / 4 stars):

Have to agree with “that guy”, Mahlzeit, cdl, and NecxGen, the copying of “Alternate Select” and “Link Select” is definitely really hasty and feels rushed? Also, “Unavailable” undoubtedly seems more like a “Precision Select” rather than well, Unavailable, feels like something similar from another custom cursor set “Portal Crosshair Cursors” by “that guy”, who actually commented here would've been good to do. :-)

I feel like you also could've made the crosshair visible to both spectrums of brightness, since it's really hard to see in the modern “Dark Mode” landscape. Maybe something you could've done different to something like “that guy's” scheme is maybe making the crosshair be white while being surrounded by a black outline to really give it that “cursor feel” while retaining visibility. :-D

All of these are just thoughts but the only reason I use yours instead of “that guy's” cursor is because my fiancé said yours looked nicer/“the best” out of a selection of before said cursor, “Aperture Science Logo Pack Cursors”, and “Ping Tool Cursors”. ;-)
