I'm creating an icon from an image and it all works fine. I can save the icon as a .ico file and it has a transparent background.
However, if I alter the brightness of the icon and then re-save it, the background is no longer transparent. Am I doing something wrong?
It should definitely stay transparent. What method are you using to increase the brightness? Eventually, send me the problematic icon on info@rw-designer.com
Just using the Brightness tool in Image > Brightness. Interestingly I just did an experiment. If I start with the icon and decrease the brightness and then save it, it's still perfectly transparent. The problem is when I increase the brightness. I'll email you both icons.
