Have you ever wondered how was I able to respond to a forum topic within a minute or two? It was because I was getting email notifications when something happened on this web.

And now, you can too! Not just to forum topics, you can also be notified when a new comment is posted.

While browsing the site, you'll see new Subscribe buttons with a little bell on them. Clicking them will add a forum or page's comment to your personalized news.

Once something happens, you'll receive an email notification. If email is too invasive for you, just go to your user profile page and uncheck the Receive notifications via email box.

Regardless if email notifications are enabled or not, you'll still be able to benefit from the updated news delivery system. 15 of the latest news items news are displayed on your profile page all the time.
