resize cursor

Hi,

I have a problem resizing the cursor from 16x200 to 16x16. The resizing works, but it shrinks down the image to some lines. I had to make it in 16x200 because the option to shift left was very usefull. Everything i need is in the first 16x16. i hope u have a solution for my problem. And thank you for the free software.

open the image, select the portion you need, copy it to clipboard, close the image, create a new cursor and paste the image ;-)

or

open the image, click Image Properties, set size to 16x16, create cursor from this image

Thanks for ur fast reply the resizing doest work for me because it messes up my image. When i do this it like a weird ancient lanuage with diffrent colors or somthing :-). So i guess i have to copy all the 60 frames manually. Well theres i guess i have to copy all 60 frames manually. Is it possible that u can build in like a pixel cutter?

...you mean there are multiple frames in the original image and you need to create an animation from the strip of frames? This function is planned for the next version and is already working, but the next version is not available, I may convert the image for you if it is just one cursor that you need.

BTW there probably is an error in the official version that may cause problem if you create non-square cursors from non-square pictures which is your case.

Are you aware that Windows will always resize cursors to 32x32 pixels no matter how big the image is?

Vlasta thanks for the information -
I've just started using the cursor designer because I am looking for a cursor I can use as a ruler.

I would like to move my mouse so it gives me a line across all of my screen, so I don't lose the line while reading.
