Animated Icons - RealWorld forums

Could anyone tell me how to make Icons animated? I need it to stay as an Icon so that I can use it to change my Icons but I dont know how to make the icon animated

The .ico format does not support animations and neither do Windows.
There are applications that can override that behavior - I guess Microangelo On Display is one of them (I did not try it myself). It should be able to use .ani files instead of icons which you can create for example using our freeware RealWorld Cursor Editor.
