I really like the union etc. features. I can think they would be helpful in making logos. I wish this were extended to entire layers. A layer's result is decided by comparing it to a "mask" layer, that is unioned, subtracted etc. with it. Vlasta (2016-04-12 09:13:39):
I know what you mean, although there is the Silhouette blending operation for layers, the layering system is too simple and the mask applies to all layers below, which is mostly useless. Either each layer would have to get a separate mask, or more powerful layering system would be needed. jojois74 (2016-04-13 02:31:13):
The layer stack article is one of the most interesting things I've read on the internet. It seems really cool. Thank you for taking the time to write it. By the way I believe it is technically called reverse polish notation. Bianca rerre (2016-12-05 14:17:52):
Hi, Will there be any 64bit versions of RWpaint? Vlasta (2016-12-05 15:03:19):
Well, there could be, but 32-bit Photoshop plug-ins would not work with it. Bianca rerre (2016-12-07 16:49:47):
I've never used Photoshop plugins, I could have the 64bit version available. For me for example, is better the 64bit than photoshop plugin, Vlasta (2016-12-08 09:14:41):
You can grab the a 64-bit RWPaint here: http://download.rw-designer.com/latest/RWPaint64.zip Bianca rerre (2017-09-21 02:40:12):
Beta version (64bit) expired Unknown author (2017-10-31 22:58:53):
RWIE v2016.1 is the most current--yes? The one at the main download location (linked in blog post above) seems to be an older version. kunkel321 (2018-01-12 00:11:39):
Hi Vlasta, Are you still there? Hopefully all is well with you. What is the version of RWIE that people should use? Vlasta (2018-01-12 09:46:31):
Hi, not much has changed, you can use the latest (unstable) build. kunkel321 (2018-01-12 20:13:29):
Glad to see you're still there! Vlasta (2018-01-12 20:53:51):
There is a small link under the main download link. kunkel321 (2018-01-15 20:31:41):
Ah yes... Right in front of me. I often lose things there! Bianca rerre (2019-09-05 08:00:05):
How do I mirror or rotate vector objects? in any future release will this be possible? Vlasta (2019-09-05 12:38:49):
You can select a bunch of vector objects (by ctrl+clicking them) and the use the Transform command in the Object menu. If you want horizontal mirroring, you type -1, 1 into the Scale box; 1,-1 does vertical flip. Rotation is also available there. Alternatively, if multiple objects are selected you can shift-drag to scale/rotate, but is is kind of unwieldy. Bianca rerre (2021-01-02 04:50:58):
My 64bit version has expired again for me it really makes a difference to use the 64-bit version, I never had a ram problem again after using that version Unknown author (2022-05-14 05:37:58):
Is this project dead? RIDDLER (2022-07-20 05:09:43):
