I'm flattered, it sounds like an advertisement for me.

Did you know that you can create a desktop shortcut for programs, applications, folders, files and internet addresses? Anywhere you frequently go whilst on the computer can be reached through a desktop shortcut.
Right click on an open space on your desktop and select "New" from the drop down menu, then select "Shortcut". Type in your internet address or browse for a location within your computer network. Click "Next" and type in a name for your shortcut and then click "Finish".
You now have a new desktop shortcut with a rather mundane icon. You can change the target location for the shortcut or assign it a new jazzy custom selected icon by right clicking on the shortcut and selecting "Properties".
For a shortcut targeted within your computer network you will right mouse click and select "Properties" from the drop down menu. Once in Properties you will select the "Shortcut" tab. When you alter the target address of the shortcut make sure you type the path in the same manner as is displayed. If your shortcut is targeted to open a folder within your computer it may look similar to this:
"C:\Users\Name\Pictures"
If an internet address is the target of the shortcut you should select the "Web Document" tab in Properties to change the icon or URL designation. The target URL address may look similar to this:
Both have a button titled "Change Icon" which will enable you to select any icon on your computer and assign it to your new shortcut.
Designer JDDellGuy has added some new GlowDroid Icons that are dazzling in silver and blue and has a high gloss set, GlossyApps Icons, that is equally as nice amongst many other high quality icon sets you can view in his portfolio.
Or you can browse the gallery for more icons. Make your desktop uniquely yours with custom icons you can easily mix and match from the vast array of icon sets in the RW Gallery.
DON'T forget to tip the creator/designer with a nice review and rating!
Have fun customizing your desktop with a personal selection of icons you can easily change whenever the mood strikes you!
Later you can pick a new cursor set!
Oh, btw you can view my portfolio here!
