The fancy icons for the forums have been updated and there are 3 new ones:
There's the RealWorld Logo, mainly used as a general software icon if what you are speaking about is covered or found in more than one program.
There's a Bomb, which could be used to mark threads as spam, need a response quickly or just not needed and require deletion.
Then finally there's a beetle, which is used to signify a miscellaneous topic.
If you have questions or comments, just reply and we'll get back to you.
4 have been added:
The 'must see' (exclamation point) is used for must see topics. The 'social interaction' (smileys speaking) is used for basic commenting. The 'check-mark' is used to signify a solved or complete topic and the 'star' is used for announcements.
***THE STAR IS NOW AVAILABLE***
There should always be a forum icon no matter what.
The RealWorld Paint.COM icon is to be used only for the Paint.COM program.
The RealWorld Photos icon is to be used only for the Photos program.
The RealWorld Icon Editor icon is to be used only for the Icon Editor program.
The RealWorld Cursor Editor icon is to be used only for the Cursor Editor program.
The RealWorld Designer icon is to be used for all programs in general.
The Bomb icon is to be used for dying or spammy threads.
The Bug could be used to signify a bug in a program. (Other than the four specified, such as the Batch Icon Extractor.)
The Social Interaction icon (Smileys speaking) is to be used for miscellaneous threads.
The Exclamation Point is to be used to signify a fast topic.
And finally, the Star is to be used only for announcement threads.
Only the Admin/Mod or the original poster (commonly referred to as OP) may mark a thread as pinned or solved by checking the appropriate check-box.
The Administrator is Vlasta.
The Moderator is me (sixλxis).
