I was hoping for there to be some .tga file support integrated in your programs. This is a major texture used in some Source games and i want to make some so this would be greatly appreciated. As far as i know, i think its just a .dll file and a few lines of code in the program to allow to save a picture in .tga format.
Thanks in advance.
There is a read-only support for TGA in the current icon editor, but maybe it should be a plug-in instead.
Allright i'll look around for a suitable .tga plugin and post the results.
What's better than the actual Photoshop targa file?

It's in .8BI format. And I have no clue how to get this into Paint.COM because theres no Modify/Configure Plugins command, only a modify/configure filters and that one only accepts .8BF files.
.8bi (input/output plug-ins) are not supported, only .8bf (the filter plug-ins) are.
Also, there is a licensing problem with plug-ins created by Adobe themselves. Their license does not allow use of the plug-ins with non-Adobe products.
Maybe I should remove the TGA codec from the upcoming icon editor, improve it and release it as a downloadable plug-in for all the applications.
Yeah that seems about the right thing to do.
