RealWorld Thumbnails is an extension for Windows Explorer or other compatible file managers. It creates thumbnails for 3D models, layered images, icons, cursors and other file formats used by RealWorld applications. Great way to find your files quickly.

The new version adds support for the recently introduced .rli, .ric, and .rcu formats. It is also possible to configure the rendering device for creation of 3D model thumbnails.

Users need to choose for what file types they want to generate thumbnails. This can be done using the Control Panel applet in the Appearance and Personalization section.

There is no portable version, because the tool needs to integrate with Explorer and that is only possible by adding. Also, it works best in Vista and Win 7, because those use the thumbnails much more aggressively than XP did.
