Adding Text - RealWorld forums

I want to create a cover for a book. I have the photos and I want to overlay text.

The font I want shows up in my font library but not as an option when I select text.

Is there something I can do to add the font I want as an option?

In what application? Is the font installed in Windows and is it a truetype or opentype font?

Got it...the font I downloaded apparently wasn't truetype but I found it on another site. Works now.
