Hey, does anyone here know how to make plugins for Paint? I thought of one that would be pretty cool-if I knew how to code.
The animation tool in Paint could use an onion-skin plugin. Onionskin is kind of a trick for animation where you draw a panel, and then put a transparent version over the next frame so you can see what how much change you're putting into the next frame. And if you're working on tweening (putting transition frames between two others, like drawing frame B after having done A and C), it can help there too because you can see exactly how much needs to be changed. This would be really helpful for drawing GIFs.
I'll see what can be done. Check back in a couple of days.
You can try to download and replace RWDocumentAnimation.dll. It is a test version that renders a semitransparent desaturated previous frame over the current one. To activate the mode, open an animation and in the toolbar select the "Emphasize current layer" button (there are 3 buttons next to where you can select zoom factor).
It works pretty well! Thanks!
