if images are drag-dropped from outside into RWPaint, it's always positioned to the top-left of the document. It's very irritating when I'm working zoomed up close. (I have to zoom out, move up to the top-left, drag the image to where I want it, which is often where I was while dropping the image, then zoom in and resume working). It will be much better if the dropped image was positioned on the portion of the document that's currently visible.

This has happened to me before too. What I do is take a bright color and color at the top-left of the canvas before pasting it over. When you get it there, you should be able to erase it and the image will be where you want it to be (:
