Is there a way to make your cursor larger than the 32x32 default - RealWorld forums

I made a cursor that I use on my Tumblr. I am just learning how to do this stuff...just learned some Gimp tricks, etc. I was able to cut out the photo I wanted and I scaled it down, input a black triangle in the upper left corner, and it works so well on my Tumblr. What I would like to do is make some more cursors for loved ones, ie. of a photo. I know it cannot be too large, but 32x32 just is not big enough to work with. If this program does not allow it, is there anything else anyone knows of that will? I know larger cursors work, as I use it, as I said, on Tumblr.
