cursor background - RealWorld forums

how do i get the background to go away?! i cut it all out but then it turns black, basically i want the new cursor to be sortof 3 d. please help...thanks

Click the "Image Properties" item in "Image" menu or toolbar and then enable the "8bit alpha channel" option. Alpha channel describes transparency of image pixels and allows you to have transparent or semitransparent pixels.
