How do I attribute the icon I have made,.. to open...
I am not sure, I undestood you correctly, but if you wish to have your icons published on our site and agree to have them published under the free license, just send them to info@rw-designer.com. They should be of decent quality, of course.
Just to remind all readers: Those, who create 40 high-quality icons and agree to have them published, receive a license for RWIconEditor.
may I be more clear,.. How do I get the ICON to work,.. so it will open some program. What is the function of an icon? I wish to open a program with them,.. so after I make one,.. how do I get it to work? Thank you,.. please.
In that case, create a shortcut for the program in question (right-click on your desktop, select New->Shortcut, then select your program). Then right-click on that shortcut and click Properties (-> a dialog window appears) and push button labeled 'Change icon'. Finally navigate to your icon file and select it. You can then move or copy this shortcut file for example to start menu or to the quick-launch bar (next to the start button). Did this help you?
yes,.. but I better read the instructions,.. ha ha. Thanks,.. I am now learning it and know enough now that this is a great program.
I am glad you like it . Please let me know if there is anything else.
