Geez you make some fine icons. I haven't made icons or cursors in ages... JDDellGuy (2011-01-14 03:53:26):
Lol, thanks, SixAxis. I'm on break from college until January 24, and I've been spending a lot of my time making stuff with RealWorld Graphics. To give some credit where it's due, you'll have to thank bouderbabari for uploading those "Metin Eyes 2" and "Eyes FR" cursors. I still don't know if he actually made them or not, but I wanted to see if it could be done. That's why I made the Red Radar cursors. To take on the challenge of making cursors/icons of that quality with RealWorld Graphics software. These are just concepts too. I plan on eventually completing a set with a metal frame and glass orb in the center, but I'm having a little trouble. You see, those icons look great with the floating images and all, but only at 256x256 and sometimes 48x48. After they start shrinking, stuff gets hard to see. Ok, I'm going to stop talking now... The metal frames look very good. BTW it is not uncommon to use different/modified versions for large and small images in a single icon. You can for example remove the word 'word' from the smaller versions and make the floating images more intense in 32x32 and below. JDDellGuy (2011-01-14 18:30:46):
Thanks Vlasta. I was trying to make them so that I could just create smaller icons from the larger 256x256 icon and save some time. I am reworking the icons with the new vastly improved metal frame design as illustrated by the new "Concept 2" icon added to this set. They will simply have the letter that corresponds to the office program that they represent. Vlasta (2011-01-14 18:35:52):

3D icon added. What do you think? It's my first. Vlasta (2011-01-19 19:15:26):
It is quite good first 3D icon. Maybe be a bit more conservative with the lights - there seems to be a lot of shadows (maybe in the future there will be a better renderer with soft shadow support). The 3D editor is a bit user-unfriendly, it is sometimes needed to use the tree-view to type the values directly and position parts accurately. Vlasta (2011-01-25 19:24:05):
The newer icon is much better Vlasta (2011-02-21 08:23:42):
Cool 3D model. I am glad to see some Blender work here. absterninja (2011-07-12 05:09:21):
