After taking a screenshot of a BIG window, I'd like to edit it to leave only four corner portions of it placed close together, with torn edges indicating the cut out from the middle. To illustrate:
Big screenshot:
AxxxxxB
xxxxxxx
xxxxxxx
CxxxxxD
Desired result, with "torn edges" in the middle:
A|B
-+-
C|D
You get rw paiint a edit it
It will be best to use the Transform tool for this. You will have to do this in two steps, first reduce the width and then the height. So select the whole screenshot except the upper and lower stripes. Resizethe region using the green point in the center of the lower edge. Then select the lower stripe and move it up. Finally do the same, but the the horizontal direction (select all except the left and right stripes, resize and move the right stripe). At the very end, you would want to crop the image - the easiest way would be using the Remove empty border operation.
