Unicorn 3D used to have a command that lets you convert a model into an image. Where is it? I was using U3D to make a life preserver icon (the same from the video tutorial), and I wanted to convert it to an icon.
I am not sure if there ever was a direct conversion to image in Unicorn3D. You can use the icon editor for that - there is a pre-release version available at http://download.rw-designer.com/2015.1/RWIconEditor.zip
