You can have a custom Profile Icon to show your identity on this website! Only $5 per icon. Will do payments thru PayPal.

but can you guys make it where we can do picture profiles but for free like we can pick any image from our files

Does it have to be my face specifically? Could it be like the face of any fictional character perhaps? Are human facial features required for profile icons? Sorry for the boat load of questions, I'm just genuinely curious.

You can't just pick any image for your profile pic for all of us to see; if you do, it won't be approved and only you can see it. Be sure to follow the guidelines for how icons work on the Help page for your Contact Card.

You can have a game avatar or mascot as a profile picture too! Human facial features are required for profile icons, so it has to look like a real human face. Drawing a Zelda-like character also means I have to draw it to look realistic (but in a good way!).

No fictional characters, it has to be an illustration of yourself, follow the profile guidelines. If you want fictional characters, you can upload those as your photo and that is visible on your profile page. You can see what kind of icons are accepted here. Even some of them are borderline and probably should not be approved, so make sure you are on the safe side when uploading a new icon.

OK, Vlasta. I see where you're going. I guess I have to set some ground rules for my commissions as well regarding this.
