Theme Of The Month Official Rules - Revised 2018

The Theme Of The Month (TOTM) contest is open to all registered users. Any registered user that wishes to participate will need to create a quality set of icons (5) or cursors (15) that relate to a posted monthly theme. All participants that create a set that meets the requirements will receive a Mysterious Present courtesy of Sirea with a chance to win other prizes from cdl.
Rules
- All work must be original and created by you . - [Submitting work that you did not create will result in removal of your right to participate in the TOTM contest.]
- No mature content or pornography.
- Cursor sets must be a complete set with 15/15 cursor roles fulfilled and proper role designation in English.
- Cursors may be in the size of 32x32 pixels or 48x48 pixels.
- Icon sets must contain at least 5 icons of different design. (No re-coloring of the same design.)
- All Icons must be available in the following sizes: 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 128x128 and 256x256 pixels.
- Only one set per category (Icon Sets and Cursor Sets) per user per month. - [If you create more than one set per category during a month submit your best set before the deadline for that month's contest.]
- Only sets posted (uploaded) within the current month will be accepted.
- Only new work will be accepted. You may not use previously uploaded cursors or icons in a set submitted to the TOTM Contest.
- Recoloring of previously uploaded icons or cursors is not allowed.
Work within your RW Portfolio must not contain plagiarized material.
- [Including but not limited to images captured from the internet or copied icons or cursors without appropriate credit and licensing.]
- [If you use sprites please credit the author and list the web page for the sprites.]
- [Appropriate licensing for material that you did not create is "Custom". Only use "Public Domain" if you found the material in the public domain or you created the material.]
Spamming of the TOTM Contest pages and related comment sections will result in suspension of your right to participate in the contest.
TOTM pages and comment sections are reserved for official contest news and updates. Everything else belongs on the forum page http://www.rw-designer.com/forum/2594.

If you act in a manner deemed inappropriate for a RW member you may be subject to suspension of your right to participate in the TOTM contest. You must follow all rules and guidelines within the RW website, treat others with respect, and do nothing to harm the RW website in any manner.

The top cursor set and the top icon set will be featured in the comment section of the official TOTM page.
- After uploading your set send cdl a personal message (PM) with a link to your set.
- Please send your entry with the SUBJECT filled out as follows: TOTM - Month. (Replace the word Month with the current month's name.)
Due to differences in time zones, we don't recommend that you post your set on the first or last day of the month.
