This maroon set is considered as a dark red set. However, this is a dark red set, but I call it maroon because that's what its called on Amazon.
Scrabble Tiles - Maroon Icons
The maroon scrabble icon set of tiles is now live on the RealWorld website. This set of tiles does include the blank tile and the 26 letters of the alphabet, so there are 27 tiles in total. Blanks are worth zero points and all the other letters are worth a certain amount of points depending on how common or rare a letter is. A is worth 1 point and Z is worth 10 points.
Please note that I have updated all my previous scrabble tiles sets with a blank tile, and updated the description as well. The tiles in this scrabble set have a simple design like with all my scrabble sets which I have created. The only difference with the Amazon version of the scrabble tiles is that the letters are white instead of black. I chose black because I prefer this combination of colors. Maroon and black fits better together for my liking so I prefer it this way. White on a maroon background looks good as well. The letters in this maroon color has a value of red of 128, so the black letters are visible to the eye. If you have trouble seeing the letters properly, I would consider buying the set from Amazon on the link I posted above.
