Lots of movement really give the cursors life. This a fine set! Thanks for sharing.
Purple Spin Cursors
This set of cursors was built in 3D using the open source program Blender. Each cursor was then animated in Blender and rendered afterwards. The rendered animations were outputted as a series of still PNG images. (Each frame was a separate image.) With an incredibly handy script that Vlasta so kindly made on request, I stitched the PNG stills together into long PNG strips. I then opened the PNG strips in the RealWorld Cursor Editor with the "Create cursor from image" option. RWCE automatically separated the PNG strip into the appropriate number of frames and I was then able to adjust the hotspots and frame rates for the cursors.
I am very pleased with the set. There are a few minor design flaws, but none of them are really noticable. They are mostly lighting issues from when I rendered. In a 32x32 image...you're not really going to notice that. But since I made them- I did.
I hope you like them, and there may be more Blender/RW work to come in the future.
