Nice job so far i think ill give it a half mark for effort and i know how much time it takes to make a simple cursor it takes a long time :-D !!!!

Now, my review:
I will rate higher as you finish it. Also, note that, if you make the squares little like in the Vertical Resize Cursor, it won't look like a racing flag, but rather will look gray, because the dithering.

Try making the squares bigger, like 3x3 píxels at least.
