A set of green icons with a chrome frame that I designed for someone that needed some custom icons. Not terribly creative, the metallic frame has come to be a frequent feature of mine and is relatively easy to create, so I didn't put a whole ton of effort into these. However, they are quite uniform in design and the mostly generic images should hopefully fit a variety of uses. All are raster images created using RealWorld Icon Editor. The star was the trickiest one to create; I'm not 100% certain that it's entirely correct per angles, etc. (I wanted it to be a perfect star), but you can't tell without looking closely if it is exact or not. I may add more at later dates.

Nice.
did you use conical gradient fill for this?
Cause it's looking different from the one in your tutorial.

Hi J, thanks for the review.

The metallic frame is pretty much the same as in the tutorial with the exception that it is a square instead of a circle.

The green background is just a simple plain green background.

The shine is two separate layers. One is a vertical linear gradient from a mostly transparent white to completely transparent. The other is a diagonal linear gradient circle with the same. The circle is very large so that the rounded shine fits within the square about a quarter of the circle. It is an improvement over the shine method described within the tutorial, offering a more artistic look.

The inner shape that is the custom part of each icon is a vertical linear gradient going from black to white. The endpoints of the gradient were placed at the points where the frame has its point on the edges (middle of the frame edges).

I dont like the green color very much. And with the shadows, the edges between symbol and green color are very fuzzy. But it looks quite good in high definition.
