Windows XP 3D Green Cursors
Here is the Windows XP 3D Green cursor set that I have found and fixed. This green cursor set for Windows XP was originally created by Microsoft himself and it was re-edited and colored by ADRI_34_YY on the RealWorld Designer website. There are 16 cursor roles in this full pack of Windows XP green cursors. I have discovered that some tweaks were needed to be done to fix and improve this cursor set because there were some abnormalities in the hotspots, animation frames of the hourglasses and the time frames of the hourglass cursors. I have also applied some deeper customization improvements to fix some of the cursors, which were the ones with the two spinning hourglass cursor roles. To see the detailed list of changes, tweaks, fixes and updates that I have done to those cursors, please thoroughly read all the information listed below:
Fixes and Improvements:
The Windows XP 3D Green cursor set has also undergone some fixes and improvements to its cursor roles containing the following errors. The Link Select cursor role hotspot fixed at 6, 0, which is now correct. Previously, 6, 1, was wrong, so I made this tiny adjustment. The Help Select cursor roles has also undergone some beneficial changes that made the cursor role appear completely green. That means that the black question mark now has a custom green effect, the same green gradient as with its parent mouse pointer cursor role. I have also added a black border to make the question mark symbol appear to have a border, rather than a borderless cursor. I have done exactly the same thing to fix the black Unavailable cursor role. I have tinted this black cursor with the same green gradient from its parent mouse pointer cursor role and copied and pasted some green pixels using the Fill Command from the Styles Menu on top of the application's Window. The Diagonal Resize 1 hotspot was set to 8, 8, which was a little off set, so I have fixed it to 7, 7, to make it perfect. I only accept absolute perfect hotspots. The Working In Background and Busy cursor role both have an extra cursor role on the first frame. It is an extra standalone frame that I have deleted because it adds a flaw to the animation. There are also other flaws noticeable to the animation of those two hourglass cursors. They are that one hotspot on the last frame is slightly off set, which makes a jump effect each time the animation plays on that particular frame. The third flaw is that the frame time is set to 5, 16, and 40. To make a perfect middle point, I set the animation time frame for all the animation frames to 15, which is absolutely perfect. The animation now plays flawlessly without the animation playing too fast or too slow, and without extreme speed ups and slowdowns in the animation. I aimed for perfection and absolute smoothness throughout the whole animation of both hourglass cursors. Both hourglass cursors have had their animation time frame throughout all animation frames changed to 15 rather than the average of 14 and 16 time frame. The frame time set to 15 has the perfect middle point speed between 14 and 16, which is adequate for those two hourglass cursor roles. Now everything has been updated with fixes to the hotspots, time frames, animation frames and also to the black cursors, which underwent a color refill tweak.
